From the moment I met Charli and Chris I knew they were going to be a ton of fun to work with. Halfway through our meeting Charli confessed that Chris had been rehearsing his best accents in the car with the intention of trying them out on me just to see what would happen. It was just the kind of humor that was so them and that was the underlying tone of the entire wedding day. In addition to the gorgeous setting of the Hotel Phillips, Charli and Chris' day incorporated not just classic elements but ones that meant something to them. The build your own Lego mini-figure bar was a total hit as was the delicious array of desserts. This intimate wedding day was the perfect way to start a marriage that I am certain will have tons of surprises and plenty of laughs. Enjoy!From Charli and Chris:Chris' Favorite Moment: "My favorite moment of the wedding was watching Charli come in the door and down the aisle - she was utterly gorgeous and seeing her just blew me away. I was too stunned to do anything other than grin like an idiot and watch her walk towards me. She was gorgeous and perfect."Charli's favorite moment: I have several! I loved that our families were present. I love that we were able to stream the wedding for our family who couldn't make it out. I love that one of my best friends sang a song that means a lot to me as I walked down the aisle (Stone Sour's Say You'll Haunt Me). She made hard rock sound gorgeous and completely wedding appropriate. I loved seeing my husband waiting for me at the altar. I loved when said husband "carried" me over the threshold by struggling to hold me and almost falling into the room. And I love that I get to make fun of him for that for the foreseeable future. Inspiration for the wedding: We wanted a wedding that was classic, timeless and beautiful. I love all things French, so I wanted to incorporate some things that I associate with France into the wedding, from the wildflower-looking floral arrangements to the French architecture of the room and the pastries we served for dessert.Advice to brides planning in the future: Keep the traditions that make you happy, leave out the ones that mean nothing to you and incorporate personal elements into your day. Give yourself a limited time to figure out what you both like and then be decisive. I promise it's easier than you think. You won't remember the small details years from now. Your day will be beautiful and wonderful, so enjoy it and enjoy the time with family. Those are the memories you will carry with you! (Also, go ahead and get a veil.
