Vinita & Amit Part 2 - Sangeet {Kansas City Indian Wedding Photography}

What could be better than an event thrown with the intention in relishing in the joy and happiness surrounding a wedding?  If you said nothing, then we need to be friends.  The Sangeet is just that.  The word itself means "sung together" and it is a celebration of the wedding to come.  For Vinita and Amit it was a celebration that they were definitely looking forward to.  After an evening of amazing food and spending time with loved ones, the celebration got going with a formal program of dancing and singing.  The performers are hand chosen from both sides of the family and highlighted their relationship together and many of the things they loved.  Many of the dances were a surprise to the couple as Vinita's sister and dear friend had coordinated the program.  The smiles on everyones faces were evident that it was a big hit and the evening ended with everyone on the dance floor together.  Enjoy!
