Lindsay & Billy {Hilton President Kansas City Wedding Photographer}
I first met Lindsay a few years ago, way too early in the morning, at
Anna and Andrew’s morning wedding. Fast forward and it was her turn to plan her own wedding day. While Lindsay and Billy skipped the brunch wedding for an elegant black tie affair, I was thrilled to be asked to photograph her day. Lindsay and Billy met through mutual friends while they were both living in Austin, Texas. After years together and calling a couple of different cities home, these two tied the knot in a stunning and classic ceremony at the Hilton President Hotel in downtown Kansas City. Enjoy!
From my bride, Lindsay:
Favorite Moment of the Day: Waiting in the ballroom for Billy to walk in and see me for our first look :)
Inspiration for the Wedding: We were inspired by the Art Deco design and the history of the President Hotel. We wanted a Black Tie wedding and knew immediately after walking into the Congress Ballroom that we had found the perfect place.
Advice to brides planning in the future: Everything happens so quickly, so enjoy every single second of it!
A huge thank you to Mike Tsai for being my awesome sidekick (second shooter)!
